What is Octordle?
Octordle is a word puzzle game where you need to guess 8 words simultaneously in 13 attempts. It's a more challenging variant of Wordle that combines puzzle and strategy elements.
How many attempts do I get to solve Octordle?
You get 13 attempts to guess all eight hidden words correctly in Octordle.
What are the game modes available?
Octordle offers both daily challenges with new puzzles every day, as well as an unlimited mode where you can play custom puzzles as many times as you want.
What do the different colors mean in the game?
The keyboard is divided into eight sections with colored letters that provide hints. The colors indicate whether the letters are present or absent in each of the eight word fields.
Why does the word I enter appear in all fields?
This is an intentional game mechanic - you play simultaneously across all eight fields. You cannot enter words separately in individual fields as that is the core challenge of Octordle.
What happens if I get a 'not valid word' error?
This error appears when the word you entered is not contained in the game's dictionary. Either the word doesn't exist or there may be a mistake in the dictionary that you can report.
